Birds are warm blooded animals who have evolved from the dinosaurs and the first bird known so far is archaeopteryx. The largest bird on earth is ostrich and smallest ones are love birds and sparrows. Birds are generally known for their beautiful colored feathers and there are variety of birds available ranging from pretty peacocks to ugly crows but all are essential for life on earth. They have a lighter body which can help them fly. Birds are the best kind of pets and again they don’t consume much time and cost for nourishment. They feed on few grains and leaves of vegetables. Parrot is the one which is loved by all because of it sweet voice and imitating capability. Some birds migrate to other distant lands in certain seasons and make it their abode.

They are social beings too and can reciprocate your feelings. They live in nests or empty homes and like places full of greenery. The land, the sea and whole sky is there for them to fly. But there are certain birds who stay on ground and like to be tamed as pets as for example ostrich and peacock, but on the other hand small birds prefer the sky to the cage. Such birds should not be caught simply for our delight.
